Carly Carly

Carly. Carly Tré is the colourful receptionist at the original ChopShop Downtown Vancouver. She is a musician, artist and client wrangler. She likes to hear jokes, ride bikes and play rock, paper, scissors. When Carly is not answering the phone and entertaining customers, she can be found cooking up a storm in the kitchen, playing in the garden, beach wandering, or spending time with her family and friends.

Nikki Nikki

Nikki. I've been doing hair for eight years and still love it… I went Utopia Academy in Abbotsford. I graduated at the top of my class. I then worked in Langley at Entre Nous… and did classes on the side working fro TIGI… I did backstage work a show and got offered a job at Bambu the salon in Yaletown… I then went on to work at L'Atelier and now that has brought me to Chop Shop… I've worked here since May, just in time for all the madness… What can say, it was weird? Something very much out of the norm for me. But, I did it, now you be the judge. Enjoy!

Kirsten Kirsten

Kirsten Von Trozuk. Kirsten is the bad-ass other half of the Von Trotzuk team. She puts the Von Trappe children to shame. Kirsten is pin-up. Her passion and flair for pin-up hair is like no other. However, this doll is no one trick pony, no ma'am. Her keen fashion sense and modern contemporary eye makes her a food fit for any client. Alberto Vargas, eat your heart out.

Krissy Krissy

Krissy J. Hey cats and kittens! Does vintage tickle your fancy? Then Krissy J. is your woman! Being a member of the Fender Skirts Hotrod Club, it's a no-brainer that Krissy knows a thing or two about Rockabilly and the '50s. After five years of teaching (maybe it's time not to be such a square) she's back behind the chair. Hair is this kitten's passion; may it be vintage or modern, she knows hair inside and out.

Pierce Pierce

Pierce Von Trotzuk. Pierce is the half of the Von Trotzuk team, born 40 years too late. Heavily influenced by '60s mod and garage rock, fashion and music, this cat can give you the inspiration to step out of the box with anything from a bad-ass pomp to a far-out shag. Anything to keep you off the next train to Squaresville. Retro not your cup of tea? Don't fret! He is constantly looking to update, reinvent, create and be sure to fix you up.

Jaybird. Jaybird is a hippie at heart, down with shoes!, up with hair! BIG hair! yeah!
With a niche for cutting curly hair, and a love for long flowing layered looks, short funky do's, as well as color in every shade of the rainbow, this gal pretty much covers it all. Easy going and fun lovin, Jay's been livin and learning about hair since 2006. With this in mind she hopes to achieve and please any style that lands in her chair. When not in the salon you can find Jay almost anywhere!! She loves the outdoors, music, art, and adventure of course! If you're on the drive stop by and chat this girl up!

Jeff Jeff

Jeff. Born in Medicine Hat, Alberta and raised on a steady diet of Spider-Man comic books and candy, Jeff first started doing hair when he decided to give himself a quick trim with the kitchen scissors at the age of 6. Many days of hat-wearing followed, but the seed had been planted. After playing in several nearly-almost-somewhat-kinda but not really successful bands, he gravitated back to hair as a job since it could be done almost anywhere, and "didn't require heavy lifting." After working at many hair salons and being the "weird heavy metal guy", he finally ended up at the Chop Shop, where he is still the 'weird heavy metal guy', it just goes over better. As the creative marketing director of the Chop Shop, Jeff designs most of the t-shirts, stickers and posters used in the promotion and eventual world domination of the shop. He's fond of doing fades, is a vegetarian and lives with his wife and daughter and two pet rabbits named Rob and Meg.

Diana Diana

Diana. Diana has been in the industry since 2002 and holds an appetite for texture and color that exaggerates natural beauty. She thrives on creative freedom and enjoys designing looks for musicians and artists. A loving mother of one, this gal brings not only a passion for hair, but a passion for life to her chair.

Jenn Jenn

Jenn. Jenn comes to us from Nova Scotia, bringing with her a niche for precise angled bobs and a flair for short textured looks. With 7 years experience, Jenn finds her inspiration in the colors, textures, and beauty of nature and her love of music and dance. Whether it's recreating the color of a wildflower or the flowing movement of a dancer, this is life in hair. Edgy, soft, bright, and flowing, hair is color, shape and movement. Hair is beauty.

Ron Ron

Ron. Well to start things off, my name is Ron and I'm from Toronto, Ont. I have been in and around the hair industry since 2006, assisting and learning about hair under a platform stage artist. I have since then taken my career on the rise with the skills I have acquired. At the moment I focus myself on men's cuts catering to all walks of life as far as their lifestyle goes.
